I didn't find this documented anywhere in pyblosxom, so I'm putting it here.
Dates will be placed automatically on your pages, preceding each entry, unless you make a flavor file for dates. If you make an empty flavor file, then they will not display. But if you have no flavor file for dates, then you will get what I guess is the default date look before each entry.
So, to eliminate the dates, make an empty file where you keep your flavors called, 'date_head.html' (or whatever the appropriate flavor extension is).
To control the look of the date, you can use the $date
variable. Currently, mine looks like:
