Dealing with dates

I didn't find this documented anywhere in pyblosxom, so I'm putting it here.

Dates will be placed automatically on your pages, preceding each entry, unless you make a flavor file for dates. If you make an empty flavor file, then they will not display. But if you have no flavor file for dates, then you will get what I guess is the default date look before each entry.

So, to eliminate the dates, make an empty file where you keep your flavors called, 'date_head.html' (or whatever the appropriate flavor extension is).

To control the look of the date, you can use the $date variable. Currently, mine looks like:

<div class="blosxomDate">
<h3>$date</h3>
</div>
