I'm sad about this. I know it's only a game, but this guy was the reason I started watching football again. Well, him and Tedy Bruschi.
Unfortunately I saw the injury happen on TV, and like many other things in that game, it was a stupid freak occurrence. Damn.
There aren't very many other aspects of life where you get to see publicly how much people pour themselves into what they do. That's why I like some sports, or at least certain athletes, so much. Not the ones who seek out all the endorsements and TV time, but the ones like Harrison, who just get up and demonstrate every chance they get.
Life might be more interesting if there were more opportunities to spectate like this, especially if the activities weren't all muscle-mind-oriented.
