In the Atlanta Airport

Thoughts while sitting in the Atlanta airport.

People outside the east coast don't seem to know how to ride escalators. Walk on the left, stand on the right. Or the reverse. Just don't make my whiny ass sit there on an escalator like a toadstool while you take in the scenery.

The flight here was smooth. I am vehemently opposed to the "food for purchase" model of airline dining, but I don't have any rational reason for that. The college cheerleading team was a welcome presence on the flight, not to oink or anything. I wonder what it is like to travel with a group that creates such a stir. I can't say my debate team traveling experience really compares.

I just got a veggie burger from BK, and they told me that they were out of pickles. What? Their computers were also down, so I suspect these days that they are serving computer generated pickles.

After a weekend of nonstop playing, my pool game has started to recover from the miserable bottoms it had reached due to my failure to play in Boston at all. I am inspired to go find a place to shoot at it Boston now. Any suggestions?

T-mobile service here in the airport is pretty poor, signal-wise, which is weird because they have their hotspot setup here in a few places. Service was great in Boulder though, and between Denver and Boulder.

I guess we're boarding soon. I don't understand the point of this whole zone boarding system either. What was wrong with boarding by row?
