The GNU Project has been campaigning against DRM since at least 1987. This means that certain people have had their heads in the sand since at least 1987. It doesn't matter much to me whether DRM works or not, but I'll take every opportunity I can to let the media honchos know that they should wake up and stop trying to artifically create scarcity and a subsequent business model where there is none, at the expense of rather important freedoms.
You could take a minute to send three emails via the Defective by Design campaign to Steve Jobs, Bono, and Edgar Bronfman, Jr. (chairman of Warner music) asking them to get their heads out of the sand. It's kind of hard to hear through sand, but maybe if we yell loud enough.
