Nearly 1 in 20 households in Boston are millionaires.
Median family income in the Boston area is $75,000.
The Northern Trust data defines millionaires based on a person's liquid
investable assets, which excludes their homes but includes 401(k) assets,
bank accounts, and stocks and bonds.
Boston is at the top of the list of metro areas in this category. Second place
No wonder it's impossible to find a filling $6-or-less lunch here.
