Lists in LaTeX without indented items [17 Nov 2005|03:42pm]

Putting this here because it took me too long to figure it out.

To make lists in LaTeX where the items have no marker and are not indented, do:

\begin{list}{}{\setlength{\leftmargin}{0pt}}
\item Here's my first item.
\item Here's my second item.
\end{list}

I did a lot of useless mucking around with \newcommand, \renewcommand, and \newenvironment. Always trying to get fancy when the answer is not.

This produces a list like:

Here's my first item.
Here's my second item.

The {} in the opening command is what does away with any kind of bullet marker.
