I'm helping to organize a flash event in Cambridge in the proximity of the Apple Store this Saturday. Be there at 10:30am. There will be costumes, artwork, literature and people describing the danger posed to our freedoms by Digital Restrictions Management (DRM, Orwellianly called Digital Rights Management by the industry).
DRM is more than an inconvenience to consumers -- its implementation is rapidly enabling a transfer of control over the forms of creativity and political expression enabled by digital production and distribution tools to a very small group of self-anointed gatekeepers.
I hope you'll join us if you're in the area, for all or part of the two hours.

This is a follow-up to the recent occurrence in Seattle. It is the prelude to more.
