Turn off spell-check in Epiphany

I was dismayed today to see Epiphany underlining words in red as I edited some text. Apparently spell-checking is now on by default. I don't see any user-exposed way to turn this off, but I visited about:config and searched for "spell". It seems that setting layout.spellcheckDefault to 0 turns it off. Maybe there's a better way, but at least I'm not seeing any evil red dotted lines anymore.

In other Debian unstable upgrade news, X refused to start with a complaint about not being able to find the "keyboard" module. I changed the name in the xorg.conf driver line to "kbd", and it seems to be happy again.
